Visitors to the gallery were met with a near empty space. A small potted tree and a ball of string sat in the middle of the room with instructions to touch the tree and unravel the string.

Starting with human touch, a barely measurable electrical current passed from hands to the leaves, through the roots to wires, and eventually to a small computer that triggered an immersive audio visual experience where string-like trees grew up the walls and morphed into jellyfish.

The work explored ideas of post-truth, virtual veneers, rejection of expertise, and the loss of critical thinking.
